Delaware County Historical Association to Offer Quilting Workshop

On Saturday February 7, 2015 from 10am – 3pm the Delaware County Historical Association will offer a one-day quilting workshop. Adults and children (over 12) are encouraged to come learn some quick machine piecing methods. Participants will learn to craft a Log Cabin Tulip design. This design takes the traditional Log Cabin and adds a tulip motif in the center of the block. Hand piecing techniques can also be applied in completing this block.

The workshop will be taught by Lesley Gray, an experienced quilter and teacher who was inducted into the Catskill Mountain Quilters Hall of Fame in 2007.
