Bi-Annual Historical Society Conference, “Making History in Delaware County,” to be held April 25th

The third Bi-Annual Historical Society Conference, Making History in Delaware County, is a gathering designed for the town and village historical societies of Delaware County, and open to the interested public.

The Delaware County Historical Association has created an afternoon focused on the use of social media, publicity and tourism, and book self-publishing. There will also be opportunity for a general round-table discussion on issues common to most organizations. The meeting, on Saturday, April 25 from 1pm to 4pm, is open to everyone. All sessions will provide for questions/answers and we invite input and participation. Attendees are asked to bring questions of concern for your society for the round-table discussion, as well as dates of planned events, and handouts which can be shared for cross-promoting.

Registration is requested by April 22, 2015. Email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or call 607-746-3849.
