Hiking historian will discuss John Burroughs as mountain tramper

Paul Misko, a hiking historian and founder of the Catskill 4000 Club, will be the featured presenter at John Burroughs’ Woodchuck Lodge in Roxbury Saturday, Sept. 5 at 1 p.m.


Hotels of Middletown

“The Hotels of Middletown,” a slide show featuring images and stories from more than 40 hotels and inns that welcomed guests over the past 150 years, will be presented Sunday, Aug. 16 at 1 p.m. at the Historical Society of the Town of Middletown, 778 Cemetery Rd., Margaretville.


Delaware County Community Heroes in Portraiture: New Exhibit at DCHA

Artist Janet Wentworth Erickson will debut her portrait series, "Delaware County Community Heroes in Portraiture" at the Delaware County Historical Association with an opening wine and cheese reception from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 7. The reception is free and open to the public.
